You: What the Hell is that slogan supposed to mean, anyway?

Me: It's a little play one words. Blur is all about fast gameplay, and I've always found that playing cards is much faster than rolling dice. Since Blur players get a hand of cards to pick from, the hand is quicker than the die. I know, I know... it's too damn funny. I should take it down. Oh well.

You: Why are the navigation buttons so hard to read?

Me: Because the game's called Blur and I thought it was clever to use blurring as a rollover effect. Move your mouse pointer over them and they'll come into focus. Come on! That's clever!

You: What am I even doing here?

Me: Obviously, you've come in search of a more cinematic, exciting way to roleplay. You're sick of the one-action-per-player-per-round tedium that most games have embraced since the 70's. You want something better.

Blur is a simple, fast-playing RPG system designed to encourage action movie fight scenes and over-the-top stunts. If you've ever seen Indiana Jones, The Matrix, or pretty much any movie starring Jet Li, you know what I'm talking about!

The "Mechanics" page will give you all the basics, then take a look at the other sections for optional rules, online resources, and other miscellaneous goodies.
